This Beer Stein features a rich deep relief German "Coat of Arms" design surrounded by two hand-colored Germany flags. The Eagle is carrying 8 relief shields with decals of city land marks of 8 famous cities "Muenchen", Frankfurt", "Rothenburg","Nuernberg","Ruedesheim","Koeln", "Berlin", "Heidelberg" The center panel has a relief of the German Coat of arms with "Deutschland" inscription. The beer stein is issued as a hand-numbered Limited Edition with a 10,000 piece issue limit. The stein is topped with an ornate, hand attached 100% lead free pewter lid. This beer stein holds 0.4 Liter (approx. 13.5oz), is approx. 9" tall and is hand-painted with a ceramic glaze in a rustic brown color schema. Glaze is applied using multiple firing processes where the stein is fired for each individual color, creating a glass-like smooth and colored surface. This German Beer Stein is 100% food safe and can be used to consume beverages. Due to the thick and high quality material, the stein can be placed in the freezer prior to usage and will keep your beverages cool for a long time.
