This Beer Stein features three large, deep relief panels and 5 round bottom panels. The center panel depicts a hand-colored deep relief of a German "Coat of Arms", while the two adjacent large panels depict hand painted deep reliefs of the historical Landmarks of Rothenburg and Heidelberg. The bottom five panels show the historical landmarks od Muenchen, Berlin, Koeln and Frankfurt. The beer stein is issued as a hand-numbered Limited Edition with a 10,000 piece issue limit. The stein is topped with an ornate, hand attached 100% lead free pewter lid. The beer stein has two bands with a relief inscription, one with the first verse of the German Hymn "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit fuer das Deutsche Vaterland" and the other reads "Danach lasst uns alle streben, bruederlich mit Herz und Hand" This beer stein holds 0.75 Liter (approx. 23.5oz), is approx. 11" tall and is hand-painted with a ceramic glaze in a blue color schema. Glaze is applied using multiple firing processes where the stein is fired for each individual color, creating a glass-like smooth and colored surface. This German Beer Stein is 100% food safe and can be used to consume beverages. Due to the thick and high quality material, the stein can be placed in the freezer prior to usage and will keep your beverages cool for a long time.
